PLASTIC BOTTLE BOAT RACE
Co-sponsored by Vilano Beach Main Street and the St. Augustine Yacht Club at the Yacht Club. Students from third, fourth and fifth grades at Ketterlinus Elementary School will build 12 six foot boats to be raced by their teachers. Because of the large number of students, teachers, parents, siblings attending and limitations on available space, parking and viewing, the general public in the County is not invited. Next year when the race returns to the Vilano Inlet Marina, there will more space for onlookers. Official volunteers, sponsors and contributors to the fund raising raffle, however, are welcome.
